RepRight (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the “App”).
When you use RepRight, we collect the following information that you provide:
- Profile Information: Name, age, fitness level, goals, workout preferences, available equipment, and any health restrictions
- Workout Data: Custom workout plans you create, exercise progress, completed workouts, and workout streaks
- Fitness Videos: Videos you record or upload for form analysis (optional feature)
- Usage Data: Workout completion rates, streak counts, time spent in the app
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version
Local Storage
All of your personal information is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit, share, or upload your data to external servers. Your data remains private and under your control.
Data Processing Services
To provide certain features of the App, we use the following third-party services:
- OpenAI API (GPT-4o, GPT-4 Vision, DALL-E 3)
- Used for: Generating personalized workout plans, analyzing exercise form from videos
- Data sent: Your profile information, workout preferences, and video frames (for form analysis)

Permissions Requested
Camera Access
Why: To allow you to record videos of your workouts for form analysis
When: Only when you explicitly choose to record a workout video
Data: Video data is processed locally and sent to OpenAI API only when you request form analysis
Photo Library Access
Why: To allow you to upload previously recorded workout videos for form analysis
When: Only when you explicitly choose to upload a video
Data: Same as camera access
Microphone Access
Why: To record audio alongside workout videos (if you choose to include audio)
When: Only when you record videos with audio enabled
Data: Audio data is included in video recordings
Face ID / Touch ID
Why: To secure access to your fitness data stored on your device
When: When you open the app and to unlock protected features
Data: Biometric data is stored locally on your device by iOS and is never transmitted to us or third parties
Data Security
Local Device Storage
- All workout plans, user profiles, and fitness data are stored in your device’s local storage
- Data is protected by iOS system encryption
- Your device’s biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID) provides additional security
Network Security
- API requests to OpenAI are encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
- We do not store your OpenAI API interactions on external servers
Data Retention
Since your data is stored locally on your device:
- You control data retention: Delete the App to remove all data
- No cloud backup: We do not provide cloud storage or backup services
- No data deletion service: To delete your data, simply uninstall the App

- Purpose: AI-powered workout generation and form analysis
- Provider: OpenAI, LLC

- Data Usage: We send your profile data and video frames to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI may use this data according to their policies.
Apple App Store
- The App is distributed through the Apple App Store

Children’s Privacy
RepRight is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete the information.
Your Rights
Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:
- Access: View all your data within the App
- Modify: Edit your profile and workout plans at any time
- Delete: Uninstall the App to delete all stored data
- Export: Currently not available, but all data is accessible in the App

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App
- Updating the “Last Updated” date

- All user data is stored locally on the device
- No user data is uploaded to our servers
- Camera/video access is optional and only used for form analysis
